Nisha Mendelsohn is the Founder and Principal of Mendelsohn Strategy, bringing over 20 years of experience in strategy consulting, business operations and transformation leadership. She works with executive teams and investors to navigate complex business challenges, leading initiatives spanning growth strategy, post-acquisition integration, systems implementation and organizational transformation. Her work focuses on aligning teams, processes and priorities to drive successful execution.
Previously, Nisha served as Chief Operating Officer and led food & beverage investment strategy at Sapling Capital, a Los Angeles based single family office. In this role, her primary focus centered on directly investing in and strategically guiding early-stage food & beverage companies in the better-for-you and sustainability categories. Prior to working at Sapling Capital, Nisha oversaw the wine direct-to-consumer business for FIJI Water-owned brands, JUSTIN Vineyards & Winery and Landmark Vineyards. She owned P&L responsibility across all business units, provided long-term vision and strategic direction, while building and integrating core operating functions to support growth and scalability. By creating and implementing best practices, Nisha enabled the business to achieve a 25% compound annual growth rate over a three-year period.
Nisha’s prior experience includes working in management consulting for Bain & Company in a variety of industries, including but not limited to consumer products, healthcare, and aerospace & defense. She holds an M.B.A. from The Wharton School at the University of Pennsylvania, and an A.B. in Mathematics and Economics from Dartmouth College.
